It is important to have a good scooter exhaust . The exhaust should not leak or hang loose. An exhaust is made for not only muffling sound but also processing residual gases coming off the catalytic converter. With a 2-stroke engine, the exhaust also has the function of providing back pressure so that exhaust gases leave the cylinder evenly.
How can we help you?
Do you have a leaky exhaust?
A leaking exhaust is annoying not only to yourself but also to your fellow road users. By driving around with a leaking exhaust, it often happens that your exhaust produces extra decibels, causing noise pollution. Therefore, have your exhaust repaired on time as soon as you notice it is leaking.
Do you suspect your exhaust is leaking?
You can check your exhaust by holding your finger or a cloth on the end of your scooter exhaust while your scooter is running. If you feel the exhaust trying to push your finger or cloth away then your exhaust is airtight. If you don't feel pressure building and you hear it coming out somewhere else then you know your exhaust is leaking somewhere. For this, make an appointment to have your exhaust repaired. This can be either a gasket or the exhaust itself.
