As you may already know, to ride a scooter you need a driver's license. To get this license, you have to pass both a theory and a practical exam for your scooter. This theory exam is done in writing and with the practical exam you actually take your scooter on the road to show what you can do. Scooter practice in one day.
Get scooter practice in one day? You can. There are several driving schools that offer to get your scooter practice in one day. This is often more expensive. You will practice in the morning with your driving instructor to get to know and control the scooter. In the afternoon you will take the real practical exam for your scooter.
The scooter practical exam.
Before you start the scooter practical exam, your driving school should apply for it first. You cannot apply for these yourself.
What does the exam look like?
First you have a short conversation with the examiner who explains everything about what to expect.
Then you will go outside with the examiner to inspect your scooter and ask you some questions about the scooter itself.
After that, you are going to ride the ride itself. During this, the examiner pays attention to:
- Do you master the scooter
- Apply traffic rules correctly.
- Drive safely for yourself and your fellow road users.
- Go along with traffic at the right speed.
- Let you be good where to ride your scooter.
After the ride, you will have an evaluation of the ride together with your examiner and your practice trainer.
Here you will be told whether you have passed or whether you will be given some points of improvement for next time.
Have you passed? Then you can apply for your driver's license the same day at the municipality.

What does a scooter practice actually cost?
Your practice consists of a number of things, of course.
The lessons and the exam. For the exam your driving school pays € 116.00 to the cbr.
In addition, your driving school charges costs for the use of the scooter, clothing and of course the lessons themselves. Often they have included this in the cost of a driving lesson.
The costs of the total picture can be very different. They will lie between €300,00 and €600,00 assuming that you pass in one go. Should this not be the case the costs will of course be higher.
