What is boosting?

Most scooters are made abroad and often there are no limiting speed rules for scooters there. However, when exporting scooters to the Netherlands, the scooters must first be limited and this means that the speed of the scooter is blocked from its full potential. When boosting a scooter, the limiter is simply removed. In addition, a more powerful engine may also be placed in the scooter.

How will my scooter be boosted at scooter repair service?

For a scooter boost, we will send a mechanic to your location. The mechanic will then take your scooter and perform a scooter boost. We then return your scooter to your requested location. This way you don't have to go anywhere yourself.

4-stroke - 2-stroke scooter boosting?

Scooter ramping on a 4-stroke scooter is very different from a 2-stroke.

4-stroke scooter boosting

With a 4-stroke, a CDI or Varioring is often used to limit the scooter. When tuning up, we remove the limiter and the scooter can hit the road again at full speed.

2-stroke scooter boosting

With the 2-stroke, the air supply in the exhaust is often limited. When boosting your scooter, the plug is removed from the exhaust.

How fast will my scooter go if it is souped up?

When removing the limiter your scooter will go 10-15 km faster than before. If you want to go even faster it is possible. To do that, the scooter's engine must be replaced. We advise you not to do that because it can be dangerous for the traffic around you and of course yourself. If you still want to do it, we advise you not to have your scooter boosted much faster to 70 km per hour.

Electric Scooter Upgrading?

With an electric scooter there is no limiter, the scooter is therefore made for the Dutch roads. When boosting an electric scooter, the strength of the battery must be increased. This can be done by means of a battery replacement or by making the battery stronger. When boosting an electric scooter, the range goes down considerably.

Injection Scooter Boosting?

Injection scooters are fuel scooters without electric carburetors. As for boosting such scooters, it is the same as with other scooters and is also just possible with us.

Scooter boosting to 34 mph

If you want to boost your scooter without breaking the law, then boosting your scooter to 34 km/h is the best option. This is of course also with us to do we carry then your scooter to only 34 km / h. The police cannot fine you for a too fast scooter.

Scooter boosting fine

It is very popular to boost your scooter. Just know that there are heavier penalties for irresponsibly boosting your scooter. It is also possible that you may get a WOK Status behind your name.

Scooter boosting remote control?

Do you want to boost your scooter but not pass scooter tests? With a wireless limiter, the police cannot see that your scooter has been boosted. You can also limit your scooter with a remote control so the police will never be able to ticket you and you can ride fast through the streets again.
