An electric scooter, you've probably heard of it. This is the new driving. As with cars, in addition to diesel and gasoline, there are now a more fuel-efficient kind of car. There is also a new market for electric scooters. Electric scooters are scooters that, as the name suggests, run on electricity. By using electricity instead of gasoline or another fuel, no co2 is released. This makes the e scooter more economical versus the fuel-powered scooter. On an average electric scooter, you can ride about 80km on one battery. Besides being economical, the electric scooter is also very convenient and most have nice features. These can be options such as cruise control that is on your scooter. This way you don't have to keep accelerating if you are going to drive a long distance. Because of the electric motor, the scooter pulls up much faster than a regular scooter.

Test e scooter
The ANWB has tested a whole bunch of e scooters. The scooters were tested on various points.
These are points such as:
- Action radius (range)
- Brake path
- Acceleration rate
- Luggage space
- Battery
From this it emerged that Vespa's E scooter came out best in the test. The Vespa Electrica came out of the test best with respect to the whole picture. However, this scooter is the most expensive e scooter on the market.
Electric moped
Electric scooters have two versions. You often have a mustache scooter and a moped scooter. The moped scooter goes 25 km/h and the moped scooter goes 45 km/h. Here the action radius of the moped is smaller. But this also depends on how you drive, the temperature outside, the tire pressure and many other factors. In general, the moped compared to the moped is the same model. The only thing is that it accelerates faster and goes faster. And, of course, with a moped you need a helmet and you also need to ride it on the road.
